ANDREA DI LORENZO
Andrea Di Lorenzo (Varese, 1994) trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, obtaining a diploma and specialization in sculpture. His research focuses on the relationship between work and environment. The result is a compositional work in which industrial and sculptural materials weave a relationship with space, natural and iconographic elements. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions including: BISCOTTO, curated by Brace Brace and Thomas Ba, with the support of Frantoio sociale, Spazio Contemporanea, Fondazione Clerici, Brescia (BS), 2023; Andirivieni, curated by Davide Ferri, Galleria Fuocherello, Volvera (TO), 2022; Gestus I atto: rifare il corpo, curated by Laura Lamonea and Thomas Ba, Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi, Venice (VE), 2021; Un anno lungo un giorno, curated by Pier Luigi Tazzi, Centro per l'arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato (PO), 2018. In 2023 he participated in the Made In artist residency, organized and promoted by Artissima Fair, curated by Sonia Belfiore.
