Marco Mandorlini (Pontedera, Pisa, 1998) trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna in the Department of Visual Arts. His research investigates those historical and cultural aspects that recount a place through an ideological and stereotyped vision. Interested in the rural world and folklore practices, he makes installations, sculptures and photographs in which he reworks found objects-relics that refer, by identity and form, to a landscape. He has exhibited at SPARC Spazio Arte Contemporanea, Venice (2023) and Officina Giovani, Prato (2022). He also won the Combat Prize in the graphic design section (2023).
